Terms & Conditions of Participation

Please read these terms & conditions carefully before registering. Registration for, payment towards, or participation in the India AI Creativity Challenge 2026 (“the Challenge”) constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms by the registering adult/school/teacher/elder on their own behalf and on behalf of the participating student. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not register or participate.

1. About the Challenge

1.1 The Challenge is an online creativity activity in which school students respond to age-appropriate creative “missions” by writing text prompts, generating images using the Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools provided on the Platform, and submitting their creations for evaluation.

1.2 The Challenge is conducted in three categories: (a) Classes 3–5; (b) Classes 6–8; and (c) Classes 9–12. Missions are assigned based on the category selected at registration.

1.3 For each mission, the student receives one (1) mission and three (3) attempts, i.e., the student may write prompts and generate up to three images for the same mission and can submit what the participant feels is the best attempt. Once submitted, entry is final and cannot be edited, replaced, or withdrawn.

1.4 The Challenge is a skill- and creativity-based educational activity. It is not a lottery, game of chance, gambling activity, examination, or academic assessment, and it carries no monetary prize.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participation is open to students currently enrolled in Classes 3 to 12 (or equivalent) in a recognised school in India.

2.2 All participating students are minors. Accordingly, a student may be registered for and participate in the Challenge ONLY through and under the guidance of:

• a parent or legal guardian who is at least eighteen (18) years of age; or
• an authorised representative of the student’s school (such as a teacher, coordinator, or principal) who is at least eighteen (18) years of age and has obtained the consent of the student’s parent or legal guardian.

2.3 The person completing the registration (“Registering Adult”) represents and warrants that: (a) they are 18 years of age or older; (b) they are the student’s parent/legal guardian, or a school representative acting with verifiable parental/guardian consent; (c) all information provided is true, accurate, and complete; and (d) they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms on behalf of the student.

2.4 Students must not register themselves or make payments themselves. All registration, payment, communication, and account actions must be carried out by the Registering Adult. The student’s role is limited to the supervised creative activity (writing prompts, generating and selecting images).

2.5 Children of employees of the Organiser and its affiliates may participate but are not eligible for any promotional showcasing or rewards beyond the standard certificate, to avoid conflict of interest.

2.6 The Organiser may require proof of age, class, school enrolment, or parental consent at any time. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification without refund.

3. Registration & Entry Fee

3.1 Registration requires selection of the student’s class category and submission of the student’s name, class, school name, city, and a contact email ID & phone number belonging to the Registering Adult (not the child).

3.2 The entry fee is ₹199/- (Rupees One Hundred and Ninety-Nine only) per entry. A limited-period launch offer price of ₹99/- (Rupees Ninety-Nine only) per entry may be available at the Organiser’s discretion. The Organiser may modify, extend, or withdraw the launch offer at any time without notice; the price displayed at checkout at the time of payment is final.

3.3 Each entry fee entitles one student to one Challenge attempt cycle (one mission with three image attempts) in the applicable category. Multiple entries require separate registrations and separate fees.

3.4 All fees are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as displayed at checkout and are payable in Indian Rupees through the payment gateway on the Platform. The Organiser does not store card or banking details; payments are processed by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms.

3.5 Refunds. The entry fee is non-refundable once the student has commenced the Challenge (i.e., viewed the mission or generated any image). A refund will be issued only where: (a) payment was deducted but registration failed due to a technical error attributable to the Platform; (b) a duplicate payment was made for the same entry; or (c) the Challenge is cancelled by the Organiser before the student commences it. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14-21 working days.

4. How the Challenge Works

4.1 On starting, the student is shown a mission appropriate to their category. The student writes a prompt, generates an AI image, and may repeat this up to three times for the same mission. Student can select the attempt which he/she believes is the best and submit.

4.2 Attempts cannot be carried over, transferred, exchanged for another mission, or re-run after submission. Loss of attempts due to the participant’s internet failure, device issues, closing the browser, or session timeout is not the Organiser’s responsibility.

4.3 Missions are assigned dynamically by the Platform. Participants cannot choose, preview, or change their mission. Missions, mission banks, difficulty levels, and formats may be updated by the Organiser at any time.

5. Evaluation, Results & Certificates

5.1 Submissions are evaluated by the Organiser’s AI-based evaluation system on five parameters: Creativity, Imagination, Communication, Problem Solving, and AI Expression. Results are displayed as star-based progress indicators (out of five stars per parameter) together with a short written feedback note.

5.2 Numerical marks, percentages, ranks, and internal scores are not disclosed, will not be disclosed on request, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. This design is intentional, to keep the experience encouraging and pressure-free for children.

5.3 Certificates. The participants receive one of the following recognition titles based on the evaluation — “AI Creativity Star”, “AI Creative Thinker”, or “AI Creativity Explorer”.

5.4 Certificates and reports are issued digitally to the Registering Adult’s email ID and/or made available for download on the Platform. Certificates are participation/recognition documents only; they are not academic qualifications, marksheets, or endorsements by any school board, government body, or educational authority, and confer no rights of admission, credit, or employment.

5.5 All evaluation outcomes, recognition titles, and certificate decisions are final and binding. The Organiser’s decision on any matter relating to the Challenge is final, and no appeals, re-evaluations, or disputes will be entertained.

5.6 The name printed on the certificate will be the student name entered at registration. The Registering Adult is responsible for spelling accuracy. Correction requests, if accepted, may be subject to verification and processing timelines.

5.7 AI evaluation, like any automated system, has inherent limitations. By participating, the Registering Adult acknowledges and accepts evaluation by an automated AI system as a condition of entry.

6. Content Rules & Fair Play

6.1 All prompts and submissions must be the participating student’s own creative work, created during the Challenge session under adult guidance. Guidance means encouragement and supervision; adults must not write prompts or complete the Challenge on the student’s behalf.

6.2 Prompts and generated images must be age-appropriate and must NOT contain or attempt to generate:

• violent, sexual, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate content;
• personal information of any person (full names, addresses, phone numbers, school ID details, photographs of real people, etc.);
• depictions of real, identifiable individuals, including public figures, classmates, or teachers;
• third-party copyrighted characters, logos, or trademarks;
• content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful under applicable Indian law; or
• attempts to manipulate, jailbreak, reverse-engineer, or misuse the AI tools, evaluation system, or Platform.

6.3 The Organiser may filter, block, remove, or refuse to evaluate any content that violates these rules, and may disqualify the entry without refund. Serious or repeated violations may result in a ban from current and future challenges.

6.4 Use of external AI tools, image editing outside the Platform, plagiarised prompts, multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage, bots, scripts, or any other unfair means will lead to disqualification without refund.

7. Intellectual Property & Use of Submissions

7.1 Subject to applicable law, the student (through the Registering Adult) retains ownership of the prompts they write. The Registering Adult acknowledges that images generated by AI systems may have limited or uncertain copyright protection under applicable law, and the Organiser makes no representation as to the copyright status of AI-generated images.

7.2 By submitting an entry, the Registering Adult grants the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to store, reproduce, display, publish, and use the submitted prompts and images for operating the Challenge, evaluation, issuing certificates, and — only in anonymised or first-name-and-city form unless consent is given — for promoting the Challenge (e.g., showcasing some of the best creations on the Platform or social media).

7.3 The Organiser will not use a child’s full name, photograph, school details, or contact details in any public promotion without prior written/verbal/email consent of the parent/legal guardian.

7.4 The Challenge name, Platform, mission bank, evaluation framework, certificate designs, logos, and all related materials are the intellectual property of the Organiser and/or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

8. Privacy & Children’s Data Protection

8.1 The Organiser collects only the information reasonably necessary to run the Challenge: student name, class, school, city, the Registering Adult’s email ID, phone number, payment confirmation data, and Challenge submissions.

8.2 Personal data of children is processed only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, which is obtained through the Registering Adult’s registration and acceptance of these Terms. The Organiser does not undertake behavioural monitoring of children or targeted advertising directed at children.

8.3 All Challenge-related communication (confirmations, results, certificates, support) will be sent only to the Registering Adult’s email ID. The Organiser will not knowingly communicate directly with children.

8.4 Personal data will not be sold. It may be shared only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the Challenge (e.g., payment gateway, cloud hosting, AI processing), under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law.

8.5 Data will be retained only as long as necessary for the Challenge, certificate verification, legal, and accounting purposes. Parents/guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of their child’s data by writing to the contact email id in Clause 13; deletion of essential data may require withdrawal from the Challenge (without refund if already commenced).

9. Platform Use & Technical Matters

9.1 Participants require their own device and internet connection. The Organiser is not responsible for connectivity failures, device incompatibility, power outages, or other issues on the participant’s side.

9.2 The Platform, AI tools, and evaluation system are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Organiser does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and may suspend the Platform for maintenance, security, or technical reasons.

9.3 AI image generation is inherently variable. Rendering imperfections (e.g., distorted hands or faces, spelling errors inside images, stylistic quirks) are normal AI limitations, do not count against the student in evaluation, and do not entitle the participant to refunds, re-attempts, or re-evaluation.

9.4 Accounts/sessions are personal to the registered entry and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

10. Disqualification, Suspension & Cancellation

10.1 The Organiser may disqualify any entry, withhold or revoke any certificate, and/or suspend or terminate access, without refund, where it reasonably believes there has been: a breach of these Terms; false registration information; participation without valid parental/guardian consent; inappropriate content; unfair means; or abuse of the Platform, its systems, or its personnel.

10.2 The Organiser may modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge (in whole or in part), or amend these Terms, dates, fees, missions, categories, evaluation criteria, or certificate framework, at any time for legal, technical, or operational reasons. Material changes will be posted on the Platform; continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

10.3 In case of cancellation of the Challenge by the Organiser before a student commences it, the entry fee for uncommenced entries will be refunded as per Clause 3.5.

11. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser, its directors, employees, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the Challenge. In any event, the Organiser’s total aggregate liability for any claim relating to an entry shall not exceed the entry fee actually paid for that entry.

11.2 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.

11.3 The Registering Adult agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser against claims, losses, and expenses arising from: (a) breach of these Terms; (b) content submitted in violation of Clause 6; or (c) false or misleading registration information.

11.4 The Organiser is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), including internet or infrastructure outages, third-party AI service disruptions, government action, or natural calamities.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Clause 12.2, courts at Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

12.2 The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through the grievance process in Clause 13.

13. Contact & Grievance Redressal

14. General

14.1 If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any Challenge instructions on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Challenge.

14.2 These Terms are drafted in English. In case of any conflict between these Terms and any promotional material, these Terms prevail.

By clicking “I Agree” / completing registration and payment, the Registering Adult confirms that they are 18 years or older, that they are the parent/legal guardian of the participating student or an authorised school representative acting with parental consent, and that they accept these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy on behalf of themselves and the participating student.
